"Learning Together": After School Program
Hands Across the World partnered with School District 742's Partner in Success Program is starting an after school program on October 23. It will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-6:30.
In our ESL STEM-A early childhood program we are promoting birth-3rd grade learning and literacy development. We emphasize reading, reading level scores, and mathematics. Children of any age are welcome to come learn with their peers.
Parents are welcome to come and learn while their children are. They can work with our volunteers to work on applications, improve in a variety of skills from computers to sewing, or receive help with homework for their own classes. The adults can choose what they want to work on.
Spanish and Somali interpreters will be available during this program to further assist students.
